Enzyme treatments break down wastes effectively but fail to eliminate or mask odors coming from the greywater and blackwater holding tanks of an RV. On the contrary, mineral treatments neutralize odors but cannot prevent waste buildup and therefore, clogs. Bacteria ones do exactly the opposite. As the best treatment is the one that can both eliminate odors and prevent clogs, many products are generally a mix of different compositions.
