There is no secret that RV appliances require power to operate. Depending on the application, it should be AC or DC. When you plug your motorhome into a standard electrical source, you receive 120-volt AC power. Otherwise, the battery of your RV supplies the appliances inside it with direct current. To make sure that all your devices operate in either case, an inverter and converter should be in place and in good condition. The former are designed to convert alternating current power into direct one. Besides, they also serve as a charger for the battery of a motorhome. There are also DC-to-DC converters.
