SW6DE LP Gas & Electric 6 gal Direct Spark Ignition Tank-Type RV Water Heater (12-11/16" x 12-11/16" x 19-3/16") by Suburban®. Take advantage of campground or generator power to heat your water with the 1440W Incoloy electric element. The Incoloy electric element provides a recovery rate of 6.1 gallons per hour. for a Faster RECOVERY rate of 16.2 gallons per hour, use both gas and electric simultaneously. The water heater gas ignition is controlled by a switch mounted on the inside of your RV.

Warranty

Suburban recreational vehicle water heaters, cooking appliance, and furnaces are warranted to the original purchaser to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and maintenance for a period of two years from date of purchase whether or not actual use begins on that date.

Suburban inner tanks are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship during the third year after the date of original purchase. A replacement water heater will be provided under the same conditions as stated in the two-year warranty EXCEPT no labor reimbursement will be provided.

Suburban furnace heat exchanger is further warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship during the third through fifth year after the date of original purchase. A replacement heat exchanger will be provided under the same conditions as stated in the two-year warranty EXCEPT no labor reimbursement will be provided.

Suburban compressors come with a 60-month warranty.

CAMPERiD Answer:

This indicates that the product does not come with insulated padding for the outside as needed. If your install uses it, you would typically re-use what is currently there around the old.
