If your current awning fabric, arms and roller are in good condition, this Pioneer End Cap Upgrade Kit can be installed to simply convert your awning to an easy to operate manual-crank version. Never worry about springs and spring tension again. Your awning springs will be removed and replaced with this upgrade kit. The crank mechanism assembly is installed on the front arm and the idler on the rear awning arm.

Dissatisfied
Bought this arm for my Open Range Camper approx a year ago. Since they are so expensive, I rarely keep the awning out. This week I left the site for a couple of hours and a rainstorm moved in. Before I could get back to the camper and roll it in it had already collapsed and broke. It literally broke at the extension arm.
Should have been able to withstand a little water. My opinion they are built with too thin material. Steve Freeport, Fl.

Quick and Easy to Operate, Very Well-Constructed
Quite pricey but worth it! Very durable yet relatively lightweight. The quality of the aluminum is great. Seems like this set will stand the test of time. Installation wasn’t a big hassle though I’m far from a professional.
The product I bought did not say what the length is which is very important when it comes to a crank handle to manually open a sun canopy. The dimensions should be on the product description, but sense it was not, the C/S Rep called the manufacturer and got the info I needed. The product is the perfect length, and good quality product.
